James Murray, Chief Operations Officer

James is responsible for enterprise wide operations. He is the conduit between executive leadership and the workforce. 

James graduated Cum Laude from Upper Iowa University with multiple degrees in Business and Business Management.

James retired from the US Army after 25 years. He was stationed around the world in Korea, Iraq, Panama, Honduras, and Germany. Additionally, he was stationed at eight stateside location including Ft. Lewis, Washington, Ft. Campbell Ky, Ft. Lee Va, Ft. Jackson SC, Ft. Riley KS.

After the military, James assumed the position of Operations Manager for Honeywell. He oversaw planning for the implementation of the Left Behind Equipment program (LBE) for military units rotating in and out of Fort Campbell going to Iraq and Afghanistan.  

James started his staffing career with MS Companies as a Regional Operations Manager. He assumed the role of Director of Operations for Star Industrial Services in October, 2018 and launched a $10M dollar labor contract with a Fortune 500 Tier 1 automotive supplier in Birmingham, AL. During his tenure, the company grew from $1.3M in 2018 to $8.3M in 2019.

Family: James has been married for 31 years to Lori. James and Lori have four children – one son Christopher, and three girls, Juliet, Ellen, and Michaela. James and Lori are expecting their first and second grandchildren in Nov 2020.
